Aikido Centrum Delft is associated with the Dutch Aikikai Foundation (Wilko Vriesman, 6th Dan Aikikai), which provides for national and international workshops and globally recognized examinations. ACD is linked to the Aikido Centrum Leiden (Marc Jongsten, 5th Dan Aikikai), which provides for complementary workshops and classes, in particular during holiday periods. ACD is associated with Aikido Nederland, the official representative of aikido in the Netherlands towards the NOC*NSF, the coalition of the Dutch Olympic Committee and the Dutch Sports Federation. ACD follows the comprehensive didactics elaborated by Christian Tissier (7th Dan Aikikai, Shihan) from France based on the teachings of Seigo Yamaguchi among others. ACD teaches aikido along the lines of the Aikikai world headquarters Hombu Dojo in Japan. |
